UPCZilla

UPCZilla is a free look-up service/database for 12-digit UPCs (Universal Product Codes), barcodes, and Amazon ASINs, and for doing product price comparisons by UPC.

How do I look up a UPC code?

To carry out aĀ UPC look-up in our database, enter a valid UPC in the search field above and UPCZilla will try to find the product matching it. Results include the product title, images, a scannable barcode and a comparison table of prices from different retailers.

MASSIVE bug fixed with dead links

SERIOUSLY?! You mean to say that links to about a third of all the retailers we list here, including Wayfair, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Build.com and Zoro, and THOUSANDS OF OTHERS haven’t been working for months, and NOT A SINGLE USER INFORMED US! That’s actually incredible! There was a straight-up error in the code caused …

iPhone 13 UPCs

iPhone 13 Pro

It’s that time of year, Apple has a new iPhone coming out, and this time there are four new models, the “vanilla” iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 mini, the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max and we have the UPCs for all of them. We’re not a tech-specs site so we’re not …

We hit the big 3,000,000!

Over the last few days, UPCZilla hit a new landmark, 3 million products in our database! Actually it was a little weird because if you know anything about databases, it can be strangely difficult to get an exact count of how many items you have in it. In fact, for months it turned out we …

Bugfix: no empty product titles

Just fixed a long-standing bug that had proved a tough nut to crack for even the hardened coders at UPCZilla. Many sleepless nights were spent… Nah, just kidding, we were just too lazy to look into it, but there was an annoying bug where product titles weren’t showing up for some products. It turned out …

UPC database back up and running

Just a quick note to apologise for the extended downtime over the last 12 hours or so, our database crashed outside working hours and it’s taken a while to get it going again. Should all be good now, sorry for any inconvenience.

UPCs for Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X

Xbox Series X

In addition to UPCs for Sony’s latest-gen console, we somewhat belatedly have UPCs for Microsoft’s new Series S and Series X Xbox models – always the bridesmaid, never the bride, some might say. At least they have something in common with Sony’s offering – shaky availability, especially of the Series X. In our opinion, Microsoft …

Rich price comparisons working again

We reported last week that some API problems had caused some of our price info providers to break, limiting our price comparison results almost entirely to Amazon and eBay. We don’t like that, our users don’t like that, and Google doesn’t like it either – in fact Google has stated in the past that a …

Limited results currently being displayed

We are currently transitioning some code to new APIs of certain product data providers we use. As a consequence our price comparison listings are not showing product prices from the usual range of retailers, but only from eBay and Amazon. We intend to remedy this as soon as possible as it is important for us …
