The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro share a similar design with a camera visor, but the Pixel 8 has a glossy finish, while the 8 Pro is matte, praised for its feel but noted for scratches on the stainless steel frame. The Pixel 8 has a 6.2-inch OLED display, slightly smaller than the 6.7-inch Pro, with both having vibrant colors and a 120Hz refresh rate, but the Pro benefits from LTPO technology. Both phones support stereo audio but have limited bass and treble.

Both feature Google’s Tensor G3 chip; the Pixel 8 with 8GB of RAM handles multitasking well. Storage options range from 128GB to 256GB without microSD expansion. Both phones share a 50MP main sensor, but the Pro shines with a 5x telephoto lens, offering better camera capabilities, including Video Boost.

Both run Android 14, but the Pixel 8 Pro has a longer support period, promising seven years of updates. The Pro excels in battery life, offering a day and a half, while the Pixel 8 falls short. Charging speeds are consistent at 27W for both, lacking faster charging seen in competitors.

The Pixel 8 Pro has a higher starting price, offering superior camera, longer support, and better battery life. The Pixel 8, more budget-friendly, appeals to those seeking affordability with impressive features.
