The OnePlus 10 Pro phone – out in China for a while and now finally seeing release in the US as well. General opinion is that it is hands-down the best phone you can get at this price-point (currently in the $700-$900 range, depending on the colour – the black model seems to be discounted right now). It certain gives the Samsung Galaxy S22, which costs literally hundreds of dollars more, a run for its money.
The OnePlus 10 Pro phone boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU and 8GB RAM with 128GB of storage. Currently there is no news of any other models, though it is likely that a 12GB RAM / 256GB storage model will be offered at some point. A key feature of the OnePlus 10 Pro is its partnership with Hasselblad on the camera side of things – there are three rear cameras: a 48MP (f/1.8) main camera, a 50MP (f/2.2) ultrawide lens and a 8MP (f/2.4) 3.3x telephoto camera. Some in the industry have suggested that the OnePlus 10 can’t quite match up to it’s main Apple and Samsung competitors in the camera department, but considering the price difference that might be something we can overlook.
